Questions

Questions about choosing.

What is the best plastic surgery simulator for a practice website?

For previewing results on a practice’s own website, PreviewMD is built for exactly that job: patients preview their result from one photo, every preview delivers a lead to your CRM, pricing is public at $249 to $999 per month, and the same subscription runs previews live in the consult room. The honest field: ClinicOS also embeds on practice websites, and the difference is the render, since PreviewMD’s AI is fine-tuned with a practicing plastic surgeon. Crisalix, Arbrea and Canfield VECTRA are consult-room tools rather than website tools, and apps like FaceTouchUp serve the patient directly rather than the practice.

Which plastic surgery simulation tools publish their pricing?

Two do. PreviewMD publishes a full price list: $249 per month for Starter, $449 for Pro, $999 for Elite, with extra previews at $1.00 each and a 14-day trial. Ageless AI publishes a fee schedule too, at $499 to $999 per month by patient volume with $10-per-patient overage. Crisalix, Canfield, TouchMD, Arbrea and EntityMed all quote through a sales process or a demo request instead.

Do I need hardware to offer patients a result preview?

Not any more. Canfield VECTRA requires an installed camera system and Arbrea runs as an app on an iPad or iPhone. PreviewMD is browser-based, so there’s no software to install and no hardware to buy: on your website it works from a single photo taken on the patient’s own phone, and in the consult room it runs on whatever screen the practice already has, an iPad, a tablet, or a desktop.

How should a practice actually evaluate these tools?

Put the same patient photo through each shortlisted tool and judge the output yourself; every vendor’s marketing images are their best case. Then ask two questions that rarely appear in demos: where do patient photos live, and where do patient leads live. PreviewMD’s answers are short. Photos are processed for the preview and never stored, and leads deliver straight into your CRM rather than sitting on our servers. A vendor that keeps patient photos or holds your leads needs a business associate agreement to cover that; because nothing of the patient’s stays with PreviewMD, there’s nothing for one to cover.

Does PreviewMD compare itself honestly?

We try to. Every comparison page names what the other tool does better, states where PreviewMD loses, dates its claims, and links to the vendor’s own site so you can check us. PreviewMD has no 3D or AR view, and every simulator ships only after surgeon validation, so our procedure list grows deliberately rather than quickly. Both are real limitations against several tools on this page.
